Commercial Auction Results – Week ending 21 October 2016

Over the week ending 21 October, preliminary results show that 77.8 per cent of the 18 reported commercial auctions were successful, which is the highest reported clearance rate since January. On a week on week basis, auction activity is lower, with 52 auctions held over the previous week with 48.0 per cent successful and also lower than the corresponding week last year, with a total of 56 auctions reported and a 62.5 per cent clearance rate. There have been 140 commercial auction results reported over the past four weeks, with 70 sales.  Based on the 45 results reported with a sale price, the total value of transactions is just lower than $89.9 million.
