Commercial Auction Results – Week ending 27 January 2017
The week ending 27th of January saw no auctions cleared, despite 4 commercial properties listed for sale by auction across Australia. This is a lower clearance rate than was seen in the previous week, where one of two listings was cleared at auction, at a value of $1.01 million.
This time last year saw a slightly higher acceleration of auction activity by the end of January, with 5 cleared sales of 6 listings. The combined total of sales this time last year was $5.81 million.
For the month of January, CoreLogic captured a total of 6 auctions, with one selling at auction. This follows a slow ramp up of commercial activity in the start of the year. Indeed, last year auction listings did not peak until the December quarter.
