Commercial Market Update – Chatswood Cityscope
The latest research from Chatswood Cityscope shows that commercial property sales have increased in total sales value. For the quarter to June 2017 there were 26 sales at a total sales value of $199.4 million, compared to 31 sales at a total value of $113.7 million for the previous quarter and up from the 30 sales at a total of $158 million in the quarter before that. The yearly figures have slightly decreased, with 109 sales at a total value of $565.3 million for the twelve months to June 2017, compared to 134 sales at a total value of $572.5 million for the previous year.

Notable sales in the June 2017 update of Chatswood Cityscope include:
- The leasehold in Chatswood Central at 1-5 Railway Street, Chatswood, a retail/office complex consisting of two 12-storey buildings with basement parking for 110 cars, two levels of shops office space and showrooms linking the two buildings completed between 1976 and 1980, which was bought for $115 million;
- 115-117 Sailors Bay Road, Northbridge, a three-storey plus basement office building with parking for 62 cars, was bought for $23 million;
- 754 Pacific Highway, Chatswood, a four-storey building with basement and on-grade parking for 81 cars, completed in 1973, which was bought for $22.52 million.
Properties listed as for sale in the June 2017 update of Chatswood Cityscope include:
- 96 Reserve Road, Artarmon, a two-storey office building to Reserve Road and another two-storey factory building with undercover on-site parking to Curry Lane, with building area of 883 sqm, available through CBRE North Sydney;
- 44 Penshurst Street, Willoughby, a two-storey building with parking at the front situated on a 556 sqm block, available through Forsyth Lifestyle Properties;
- The freehold in Chatswood Central at 1-5 Railway Street, Chatswood, a retail/office complex consisting of two 12-storey buildings with basement parking for 110 cars, two levels of shops office space and showrooms linking the two buildings completed between 1976 and 1980, available through JLL Parramatta and JLL North Sydney.
